TCL recently welcomed two new employees to the college.
Topher Byrnes has joined TCL as the college’s director of military and veterans’ programs.
Topher has over 30 years of experience in public education and a background in U.S. Navy intelligence. He has led schools and student support initiatives across Georgia and South Carolina, focusing on access and alternative education.
Topher lives in Hardeeville with his wife Leah and their two dogs. He is a “proud father of five, father-in-law to three, and grandfather to four — soon to be six.”
Morgan Perkins has joined TRIO’s Talent Search program as an educational specialist.
Morgan holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Claflin University and a master’s degree in teaching from the University of South Carolina.
Morgan says she is excited about joining the TRIO team and is “eager to contribute and grow alongside this talented group.”
