Residency

A student’s residency classification for tuition purposes is determined by the Admissions staff at the time an admission application is submitted in accordance with South Carolina Commission on Higher Education regulations, South Carolina Code of Laws #59-112-100 to #59-112-150, and the Technical College of the Lowcountry Commission policies and procedures.

Residency Verification

Student’s that are determined non-residents at the time of application may submit a residency verification form for the residency office to review for a residency reclassification. This form must be submitted prior to the start of the semester. If this step is not completed on-time it could cause a delay in your Financial Aid award or a higher tuition bill than anticipated.

If you were selected for residency verification, an email would have been sent to to your TCL email account. You must complete one of the forms below and submit using your TCL email to residency@tcl.staging.wp.collegeinbound.com.
