JOB SECURITY


This exciting, hands-on career training program will prepare you for an entry-level cybersecurity technician position.

Created for those new to computer technology, you’ll get a solid foundation in networking and programming before moving into information security courses.

Ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of online information is the primary objective of the cybersecurity professional. The knowledge and skills needed to detect, respond and recover from modern cybersecurity threats is the focus on the cybersecurity degree.

Classes include operating systems, cyber law, networking and security, and more. You’ll learn the essential concepts of cyber-defense and incident response, with a practical hands-on approach to security risk analysis and management.  Students learn how to ethically hack in order to understand how adversaries will attack their organization’s assets. 

This 63-credit-hour program can be completed in as little as two years. Whether you know a little or a lot about computers, we’ll teach you everything you need to know for a great carer in cyber. In fact, the The 2022 annual mean wage for information security analysts in South Carolina is$102,270, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The career offers great pay and allows for remote working opportunities.
