NEW! this 18-hour certificate program is designed to teach basic nail care, various nail additions, repair wraps, sanitation procedures and basic salon management practices.

You’ll be set for a career as a nail technician, manicurist/pedicurist, salon manager, salon owner, product educator, a distributor and consultant.

This program will be offered during the evenings, Tuesdays through Thursdays from 5 to 9 p.m. Classes cover basic procedures and business aspects of real and artificial nails.

    CERTIFY YOUR SKILLS

    Upon successful completion of all program coursework, students will have accumulated the minimum 300 clock hours required by the South Carolina Board of Cosmetology to become eligible to test for state licensure.

    Tuition: 18 credits x $214 per credit = $3,852.*

    Important Eligibility Requirements

    To be eligible for SC Nail Technology Licensure, individuals must:

    • Be a Permanent US Resident or US Citizen
    • Have earned a High School Diploma or GED or 10th grade education and be at least 16 years of age.

    Program Prerequisites

    Program Perquisite(s): RDG 100, ENG 100, MAT 032. Qualifying scores on SAT, ACT, Accuplacer placement test or Multiple Measures
