The TCL HVAC Technology program is the Lowcountry’s residential and commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning training center. Students receive hands-on instruction from certified instructors and can choose from day and evening courses in TCL’s fully equipped labs at both the Beaufort and Bluffton New River campuses.

TCL’s Designing HVAC Systems Certificate program specifically prepares students to design air conditioning systems, including equipment selection and duct design.

This 20-credit-hour certificate can be completed in as little as two semesters. Courses include refrigeration, heating and air conditioning fundamentals; customer service; duct fabrication; residential load calculations; and codes and ordinances.

Technical College of the Lowcountry is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate degrees. Degree-granting institutions also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. Tuition: 20 credits x $214 per credit = $4,280.
